Event Highlights

 

Opening Ceremony

The event was honored by H.E. Eng. Kamal Bin Ahmed Mohammed, Minister of Transportation and Communication. More than 350 VIP’s and guests which include ICT professionals and enthusiasts witnessed the grand opening of MEET ICT Bahrain 2014. 

Recognition and Appreciation Awards

The fourth edition of MEET ICT also gave recognition to individuals as well as companies who excelled in the field of ICT. Partners and sponsors were also awarded and appreciated.

Exhbition Ribbon Cutting

After the opening ceremony, the ribbon-cutting of Bahrain International Technology Exhibition (BITEX) took place. It was also led by H.E. Eng. Kamal Bin Ahmed Mohammed, together with the sponsors and partners.

Conference

The two day conference included five different sessions that discussed and debated the hottest issues on Big Data and Cloud Computing.

Workshops

Three parallel workshops covered advanced topics of ICT and experts in each respective field conducted these workshops.

IT Strategies Workshop

The IT Strategies for Delivering Business Values Workshop was honored by Dr. Mohammed Ahmed ALAmer, President of Central Informatics Organization (CIO). This was attended by IT professionals and enthusiasts.
